High Maintenance Collection by Maria Jane

Let me tell you how this collection happened.

I’ve always loved iconic people. Not because they were perfect, but because they had something about them... attitude, mystery, confidence, chaos, genius, beauty, whatever. They stood out. They left a mark. They lived loudly or quietly or rebelliously, but always with intention.

One day I was looking at old portraits and thought, “Honestly… they would definitely smoke.”
You cannot tell me Einstein didn’t roll a fat one after overthinking the universe.
Frida? Please. She lived ten lives in one.
Mona Lisa? She was absolutely hiding a joint under that smile.
And don’t get me started on the queen energy.

So I started to imagine them in my world, simple lines, strong expressions, a joint in hand, relaxed like they know something the rest of us don’t. It felt natural. It felt funny. And it felt like art that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is my favorite kind.

These designs are not about being “stoner merch.” They’re more artistic.
Little reminders that even the icons had a life outside the frame.
Outside the museum.
Outside the textbook.

When you wear something from this collection, I want you to feel that same energy:
A little rebellious.
A little clever.

This drop is unisex, universal, and just fun.
Art you get to wear.
History with a wink.
A vibe you don’t have to explain, because the picture already says everything.

But mostly… I hope you smile when you see these pieces.
Because that’s exactly how they were created.
